Lax.com attended the 5th Annual Sticks for Soldiers Lacrosse Tournament at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. Great Lacrosse for an even greater cause.
This year, the players decided to target the fund raising efforts to one person - Army Specialist Brendan Marrocco of Staten Island, NY who was severely wounded in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The tournament was a great success this year, and has raised over $44,000 since its inception in 2006. This charity event is organized and run by the high school players and volunteer parents to help our wounded veterans
