The all new STX Surgeon 500 shoulder pads are specifically designed for elite level middies and defenseman who wan that sliver of extra shoulder protection, but are not willing to sacrifice any mobility. These pads have a small shoulder cap pad that extends about 3 inches past a typical liner and deflects those top of shoulder blows a bit better that traditional liners.
