Records No. 4 Florida (2-1) No. 12 Loyola (3-0) O'Leary's Insight "Credit Loyola. They came out and played a really strong game. We have seen them on film, so we knew how dynamic their offense was. This was a little disappointing in the fact that we had a strong game plan, but we did not execute that game plan very well. But again, all credit to Loyola, they came in and put us on our heels." "We have to drive to the goal cage and we have to be a threat. If they are going to shut down Shannon [Kavanagh], everybody needs to be confident enough to go to the goal cage, we didn't have that confidence today." Notables Grace Haus scored two goals on the day, becoming just the 17th Gator to record 100 career points Shannon Kavanagh continued her streak of consecutive games with a draw control, moving 37 consecutive games – a program record Kavanagh also recorded at least one point, extending her streak to 22 games, the fourth-longest streak in program history Florida drops to 6-2 against Loyola in the all-time series Up Next The Gators head to Kennesaw, Ga. on Wednesday for a midweek matchup with the Kennesaw State Owls Opening draw is set for 11 a.m. at Fifth Third Bank Stadium This is the first unranked opponent Florida will face this season
