Eight different players scored at least two goals and Riley Reagan tied her own school record for points in a season as Stetson rolled to a 21-1 win over Delaware State, Saturday in Newark, Del. Saige-Lyn Gidzinski had four goals, Jaclynn Levy added three, and Sarah Flatt, Quinn Roe, Marina Rotella, Jacklyn Lavoie, Taylor Zuberer and Bailey Busscher each scored twice to pace Stetson's offense. Reagan finished the game with six points (1 goal, 5 assists) and now has 53 points on the season, matching her school record performance from last season. Stetson has at least four games remaining, giving the sophomore plenty of time to improve upon her own success. Much like Friday's win at Howard, the Hatters took control early on. Stetson jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on goals by Gidzinski, Rotella and Zuberer. Delaware State scored its only goal to get within 3-1 with 19:44 to go, but that was all the offense the Hornets (1-8) could manage. Stetson scored the final 18 goals of the game. The Hatters led 13-1 at halftime and kept scoring in the second half. Levy and Busscher scored twice. For Busscher, the goals were her first of the season. Stetson out-shot Delaware State, 31-7. The Hatters also dominated the draw, besting the Hornets by a 15-6 margin. Rotella and Levy each had three assists. Kiera McCarthy made four saves in goal for the Hatters. Stetson next visits non-conference foe Mercer, 4 p.m., Thursday, April 18, in Macon, Ga.
