Behind a three-goal, three assist day from Natalie Sulmonte and clutch goalkeeping from Kiley Keating helped the Towson University women's lacrosse team top No. 4 Penn State 14-13 at Johnny Unitas Stadium. No. 19 Towson (1-0) held an 11-5 lead at halftime and scored three more in the second half helped stave off a Penn State (0-1) rally, giving Towson its first-ever win over the Nittany Lions. Sulmonte finished with three goals and three assists on four shots. Keating finished with seven saves in her first win of the season. Carly Tellekamp added another three goals and one assist in the upset win. Penn State was led by Madison Carter, who had a game-high six goals. Katie O'Donnell tucked away three goals. Lucy Lowe suffered the loss in goal after allowing nine goals and making three saves. She played for 20 minutes before she was spelled for the final 40 minutes by Madison Cunningham.
