Senior Kylie Ohlmiller (Islip, N.Y.) scored six goals, leading No. 2 Stony Brook women's lacrosse past No. 23 Stanford, 15-9, on Monday evening at Cagan Stadium, With the win, the Seawolves improve to 2-0 (0-0 AE) so far in 2018. QUOTING HEAD COACH Joe Spallina "It's great to get another quality win vs. a ranked opponent. It was definitely not a thing of beauty. I think we did some great things, but also did some things uncharacteristic of our team. That's the great thing about starting the season against high-quality teams, it gives us a great opportunity to find our flaws early on and improve. The team and I are excited to get back to LaValle Stadium for our home opener in front of the best fans in the game." On Kylie Ohlmiller: "Kylie was incredible tonight, she was a great leader and made so many great plays.
