Niagara jumped out to a 5-1 advantage 10:03 into the game, with Iona's lone tally coming from Madi Kochanek. The Gaels rallied for three unanswered goals with one by Emma Rippon and two by Leah Marshall. The Purple Eagles scored the final four goals of the half to take a commanding 9-4 lead at halftime. The teams traded goals to open the second half. After Niagara's Alexis Morales put Niagara up by six, Kati Paavola notched her 13th goal of the season. Metcalf answered a Niagara tally to bring the Gaels back within five with 15:39 to play. Five consecutive scores by the Purple Eagles gave them the largest lead at the game at 10 with 9:07 to play. Kochanek tallied two goals in the game and has scored at least one goal in six straight contests. Caton Brisbin recorded her first career multi-goal game, scoring on her only two recorded shots. Alyssa Connell caused four turnovers, her second game in which she has totaled four or more.
