Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (6-1, 6-0 CSAC) finished up the regular season unbeaten in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play with a 29-1 rout of Bryn Athyn (3-3, 3-3 CSAC) on Wednesday afternoon. Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) led the team with a nine-point day on five goals and four assists. The game was the 500th intercollegiate contest in Stockton history, with 283 of those being victories. The Ospreys jumped out to an 11-1 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Dante Poli (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks South) and Swedlund scored goals 1:15 apart for a 2-0 lead before Thomas Kozlowski tallied the only marker of the day for the Lions. From there Stockton scored 27 straight goals. Swedlund scored three more times in the first period, followed by Poli with two more scores. Eric Anderson (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) also banged in a pair for the 11-1 advantage. Seven different Ospreys tallied in the second period to make it 18-1 at the break. Every available player for Stockton saw action in the game and 15 scored goals, including a hat trick for Myles Ackerson (Hopewell Valley/Hopewell Valley) and the first two career goals for Jake Waltz (Mickleton/Kingsway). Poli with three scores and two helpers, and Joey Tiernan (Voorhees/Eastern) with a pair of tallies and three assists, added five points each in support of Swedlund. Ackerson accounted for four points with three goals and an assist while Anderson added three goals. Eric Lindskog (Montville/Montville) started in net and played the first half, making two saves in earning the win. Colin Bernstein (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South) played the first 22:35 of the second half with three saves before Thomas Sullivan (Morristown/Morristown) finished up without having to make a save. Stockton will be the No. 1 seed for the upcoming CSAC Tournament that starts on Saturday afternoon. The Ospreys will host Bryn Athyn again with the game time set for 1 pm.
