WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford women's lacrosse had a season-high 15 draw controls with 13 clears, but couldn't hold off Holy Cross, who secured a 21-9 victory over the Hawks. Hartford drops to 0-7 on the season while Holy Cross improves to 2-5. HOLY CROSS 21, HARTFORD 9 The Crusaders came out of the gate hot, scoring four goals in the first five minutes before sophomore Megan Miller netted her first of three goals to put the Hawks on the board. Hartford scored four more goals in the first half but Holy Cross put the game out of reach by putting 11 more in the back of the net before the second half.
