Gordon hosted Becker in its last non-conference game of the season at the Brigham Athletic Complex and attempted 51 shots in its 20-3 victory. The Fighting Scots (4-4) started off the game by scoring three goals in the first four minutes of action. The Hawks (1-5) made it a 3-2 game with two goals in the next four minutes. Gordon scored four straight goals to close out the first quarter and take a five-goal lead going into the second quarter. They added five more goals in the second quarter and held Becker to six shots to take a 12-2 lead into halftime. Austin Early scored two goals in the first four minutes of the third quarter to stretch the lead to 14-2. Jack Schneider scored in the 37th minute to cut the lead down to 11 goals. The Fighting Scots held the Hawks to 14 shots with seven being on goal the rest of the way while adding six more goals to seal the win. Early scored six goals for the second time this season and also dished out two assists and grabbed two ground balls. Nick Palandjian scored four goals and handed out three assists. Jason Dantona had career-highs in goals and assists with four of each. Tytus Moen also recorded career-bests in goals with here and in assists with two. Noah Johnson grabbed a career-best eight ground balls and forced a career-high four turnovers. Billy Biegun won 13-of-15 faceoffs and grabbed ten ground balls. Jay Gallipo recorded seven saves and while Lars Githmark stopped a career-high five shots. Gordon next travels to play the University of New England April 4 at 7 p.m.
