In the first quarter, Ben Luke and Marcus Yandall each recorded two goals to lead the Bluejays. Marians' Connor Houlihan scored at the end of the first quarter to trail Elmhurst 6-1. In the second quarter the Bluejays continued to extend their lead with two more goals from Luke and two goals from Andrew Frerich. Elmhurst led 12-2 at the end of the first half. In an uneventful third quarter, Frerich finished a short-handed goal from Luke to extend Elmhurst' lead to 14-3. The Bluejays outscored Marian 6-1 in the fourth quarter 6-1finishing off the Sabres 20-4 on the night. Elmhurst was led by Luke's eight points on seven goals and one assist. Yandall recorded seven points, including a hattrick and four assists. Frerich added five points, tallying four goals and an assist of his own. Ryan Camarata led the defense of the night with six caused turnovers. Jake Delgado totaled seven saves and three ground balls while letting in only four goals on the night. Marian was led by Colt Robertson's four points on two goals and two assists. Connor Houlihan and Nick Klotz added a goal apiece. Cameron Nevins made five saves while allowing 12 goals on the night.
