Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored two goals but the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team was defeated 13-3 by Dartmouth College in Wednesday afternoon's non-conference game at Scully-Fahey Field. Rebecca Sennott (Westford, Mass.) netted UNH's other goal. Kate Clancy (Barrington, R.I.) made seven saves and yielded 10 goals in the first half; she also had a team-high four ground balls. Amanda Gottlieb (Canton, Conn.), who entered the game at the start of the second half, stopped 4 of 7 shots on goal in a 30-minute relief appearance. Dartmouth was led offensively by and Katie Bourque (3g, 3a) and Ellie Carson (3g, 1a). Larson Bennett and Campbell Brewer scored two goals apiece. DC goalie Kiera Vrindten made four saves and allowed two goals in 50:40. Katie Forman was not credited with a save with one goal against. UNH has lost two straight since winning its season opener. Dartmouth improved to 1-1.
