The Alderson Broaddus men's lacrosse team fell 15-7 to visiting Lake Erie Tuesday afternoon at the Multi-Sport Performance Stadium. Justin Jablonski got the Battlers on the board first with an unassisted tally at the 12:21 mark of the first quarter. The Storm scored the next five goals to build a 5-1 advantage with 9:45 left in the second quarter. Kashawn Shifflett stopped the Lake Erie run with a goal set up by Logan McCulley with 8:37 to play in the second. The Storm finished in the half on a 3-0 run to take an 8-2 lead into the break. Jordan Look and Braxton Roman each scored for the Battlers, but the Lake Erie lead was 11-4 after three. In the fourth, Look scored a pair of man-up goals and Jordan Cox added a goal with the extra man, but the Battlers came up short 15-7. Look finished with three points on the hat trick. Cox tallied two points on a goal and an assist. Joseph Varela made seven saves while also leading the team with four ground balls. Jesse Worley added three ground balls. The Battlers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Canton for a 1 p.m. matchup with Walsh.
