The top-ranked University of Tampa Spartans traveled down south to face the Lynn University Fighting Knights. Both teams came into the game undefeated, with the Spartans able to claw out the victory to remain unbeaten on the season. INSIDE THE MATCHUP: Final: Tampa 7, Lynn 6 Records: Tampa (6-0, 5-0 SSC), Rollins (3-1, 2-1 SSC) All-Time Series: Tampa leads the series 7-1. HOW IT HAPPENED: FIRST QUARTER Lynn jumped on top early in the game, scoring the first two goals to give them an early 2-0 lead. The Spartans would score the first goal of the game with 7:09 left in the quarter, as Jake Mosher McGrawHear how to pronounce Jake Mosher McGraw would find the back of the net. After a Lynn goal, the Spartans cut the lead to 3-2, as Jack Wood would score the second goal for Tampa. || Lynn 3, Tampa 2 SECOND QUARTER Lynn would again score first in the second quarter to extend their lead to 4-2.
