The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team suffered an 11-10 overtime loss at No. 18 Lynn Saturday afternoon. The regular season closer moved the Lions overall record to 9-6, 4-3 in the Sunshine State Conference. Trailing by four goals with less than four minutes remaining in the second quarter, Ethan Ticehurst found the back of the net, assisted by Tyler Eames to swing moment back to the Green and Gold huddle. The Lions' goal before the half, was the first of what would be a five-goal run. Matt Shand opened the third quarter with an unassisted goal to bring the game within two (9-7). Philip Buque took the cue and ran with it, netting back-to-back goals to tie it up at nine heading into the fourth. Buque struck again, this time assisted by Shand, for the first Saint Leo lead of the game (10-9) with 13 minutes left in regulation.
