The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Roger Williams, 15-11, Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium. Up one, 10-9, with 14 minutes left in the game, The Gulls went on a 5-0 run, to go up six, 15-9, and essentially put the game away. Endicott's 5-0 run came after a 4-0 run by Roger Williams, which included the first two goals of the fourth quarter. Leading the way offensively for The Gulls was Sam DesMarais (York, Maine), who scored five goals and notched one assist. Closely following DesMarais were Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) and Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) who each scored three goals. Meanwhile, Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) made 11 saves to improve to 3-1 on the season. BEYOND THE BOX SCORE Ryan Varano (Avon, Conn.) led the team with three assists. Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) and Brendan Croston (Andover, Mass.) also scored in the win for Endicott. James Loughran (Cos Cob, Conn.) led The Gulls with a career-high eight groundballs. Endicott now leads the all-time series over Roger Williams, 27-5. WHAT'S NEXT Endicott (3-1, 3-0 CCC) will travel to Curry College on Wednesday, April 7 with faceoff scheduled for 4:30 PM. The Gulls scored seven out of the game's first eight goals and never looked back outscoring The Bison in every quarter, 2-1 in the first, 5-0 in the second, 4-2 in the third, and 4-2 in the fourth. Leading the way offensively for Endicott were Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) and Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) who each had four goals. Closely following was Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) who scored two goals and notched three assists. In net, Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) made 12 saves in net to improve to 2-1 on the season. BEYOND BOX SCORE The Gulls received points from 11 different Student-Athletes in the win.
