After starting the season with seven non-conference games, Messiah College men's lacrosse team finished up the non-conference schedule Saturday night with a 13-9 loss to the Eagles of Eastern on the Lacrosse Turf. Liam Liliethal, Dylan GIllisse and Joseph Franken each scored two goals including Lilienthal adding two assists. This marks the final non-conference matchup for the Falcons for the season before conference play begins on Wednesday at Lycoming. The Falcons drop to 3-4 on the season while Eastern move to 4-6 and holds a two-game winning streak. Messiah ended the matchup, leading 50-32 on shots and only missing one clear attempt. In net, Evan Stoker saved five shots while Jacob Fahnestock stopped four saves but allowed nine goals past him.
