- Mackoy Bodmer had six goals as Ferrum College fell 12-8 to Methodist University in non-conference men's lacrosse action tonight at W.B. Adams Stadium. RECORDS Methodist (1-1) Ferrum (0-1) THE BASICS Methodist raced out to a 5-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. Bodmer scored his first goal two and a half minutes into the second quarter, then added another goal four minutes later to trim the lead to 5-2. The Monarchs responded with four goals, two by AJ Mejia, to expand the lead to 9-2 at the break. Bodmer added a goal to open the third quarter, then Methodist punched two in to make it an 11-3 game. Ferrum rallied with four straight goals, one each by Ronald Carney and Jacob Boswell, and two by Bodmer to close the third at 11-7. Bodmer's final goal came with 2:15 left in the game and trimmed the lead to 11-8, but Methodist would score a minute later for the final count.
