The Marymount University men's lacrosse team hosted Lebanon Valley College on Saturday at Long Bridge Park, falling 14-3. After falling behind, 2-0, in the first quarter, freshman Troy Tangolics got Marymount on the board with 2:26 to go in the quarter to cut the lead to one. The Dutchmen went on a six-goal run that lasted from the second quarter into the third to take an 8-1 lead. Following the first Lebanon Valley score of the second half, sophomore Cole Kocovsky made a heads-up play, picking a pass from the Dutchmen goalkeeper out of the air and redirecting it into the back of the net for his first score of the year. The final tally for the Saints on the day came in the fourth quarter by sophomore Clark Akers with 1:10 left to play, however, the Dutchmen had the game in hand with five goals in the final period. Senior Grey Clarkson made the start in goal for the Saints, making 10 saves. Marymount will return to the field on Wednesday, March 13 against Delaware Valley University at Long Bridge Park; the opening faceoff is set for 2 p.m.
