A high-scoring second quarter was the difference in Sunday's contest between the Johnson & Wales University men's lacrosse team and Wheaton College. The Lyons outscored the Wildcats 6-2 in that quarter on their way to a 16-7 decision.

Of Note:
Wildcats ended the first quarter with three unanswered goals - including a goal from Ben Farrell - with 3:11 left to give JWU 3-1 lead.
Jacob deMey's man-up goal with 1:25 left in the second quarter tied the game at 5-5 and stopped a 4-1 run by the Lyons. Wheaton outscored Johnson & Wales 6-2 in the second quarter to head into halftime with a 7-5 lead.
The Lyons never looked back after halftime, outscoring the Wildcats 9-2 in the second half.
Ben Farrell recorded a hat trick on 11 shots and Xavier Chiovera led the Wildcats with three assists. Wheaton outshot the Wildcats, 48-29, with Bradley Morris making 17 saves.
Mike Abramo led the Lyons with a trio of goals while CJ Leighton had two goals and four assists.
