WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s lacrosse team will resume Patriot League play at Navy on March 31, at 12:00 p.m.
Quick Sticks
• The Crusaders pick back up with league action after defeating Quinnipiac, 14-13 on March 24.
• In the game, Dan O'Connell had an 80% win percentage at the faceoff.
• Holy Cross is led by Drew Babiak, who has recorded14 goals. Kevin Kodzis has added 10 goals and five assists to also pace the Crusaders.
• Jonathan Tesoro has started all nine games for Holy Cross in goal. He holds a .433 save percentage and 12.31 goals against average.
• The Crusaders rank fourth in the Patriot League in caused turnovers per game at 7.56. Holy Cross ranks third is faceoff percentage at .569.
• In their last outing, Logan LeBlond fired off five goals and is the second Crusader to do so in the 2018 season.
Scouting the Midshipmen
• Navy hosts the Crusaders with a 5-4 overall record and 4-1 mark in the Patriot League.
• Most recently Navy defeated Lehigh, 10-7, on March 24.
• The Midshipmen are led by Christian Daniel, who has recorded 16 goals and 10 assists for 26 points. Jack Ray is Navy’s leading goal scorer, with 18.
• Defensively, Michael Strack has picked up 27 ground balls and leads the team in caused turnovers, with 13.
• At the faceoff, Joe Varello has a .600 winning percentage.
