Del Rosario Matches Career-High in Saves with 22 and Grieves Tallies Six Points to Lead Shoremen CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College scored the game's first four goals and never trailed on its way to a 15-9 victory over visiting Colorado College at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium on Sunday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action. The Shoremen are now 5-6 overall, while the Tigers drop to 7-5. Washington College 15 Colorado College 9 How It Happened - Washington scored the game's first four goals to lead 4-0 with 4:30 left in the first quarter on a Cooper Sloan goal from Casey Grieves. Each team scored one goal the rest of the first as the Shoremen led 5-1 after one. - The Shoremen took their biggest lead of the half with 6:38 remaining in the second quarter on a Kevin Trapp score from Sloan before the Tigers scored two straight to trim the lead to 7-4 with 1:00 left in the second on a Coby Petau finisher from Tyler Borko. - In the final minute of the second, the Tigers looked to cut it to 7-5, but Borko's shot with 27 seconds left was stopped by Chris Del Rosario and on the other end Grieves scored unassisted with five second left to give WC an 8-4 edge at halftime. - Washington outscored Colorado College, 4-1, in the third to take a 12-5 lead after three with Grieves netting two of the four. - The Shoremen took their biggest lead of the game with 11:46 on a Joe Tobin goal from Sloan at 14-5 before the Tigers scored four of the final five goals to provide the final margin.
