Redshirt senior Tess Chandler scored a minute into overtime to secure Boston College lacrosse's eighth straight win, 13-12, over Southern California Wednesday evening. Despite the Trojans (2-3, 0-0) scoring the first goal of the game, there was no clear leader for the first half and the Eagles (8-0, 1-0) went into the break with a one-goal deficit. Junior Sam Apuzzo made a showing in the second half, in which she scored all four of her goals. With under two minutes left in regulation and the Trojans netting the prior two goals to take a 12-11 lead, Chandler brought the game to yet another tie and into overtime. Just over a minute into overtime, Chandler took fate into her hands and scored the goal to end the game off an assist from Apuzzo. Junior goalkeeper Lauren Daly had seven saves while in net for the entirety of the game.
