HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin men's lacrosse team rattled off its sixth consecutive victory as the Polar Bears doubled-up Trinity 12-6 on Saturday afternoon. The 18th-ranked Polar Bears climb to 6-2 (4-1 NESCAC) while dropping the Bantams to 2-6 (0-5 NESCAC). Game Highlights Trinity scored under a minute into play, but the Polar Bears responded with four goals in the opening quarter and three in less than a minute. Nick Conway, Jake Crossman, and Shawn Daly scored in quick succession to give Bowdoin the 4-1 lead. The Bantams cut the deficit to two heading into the half with quick back-to-back goals in the second, responding to an opening tally by Matthew Crowell. Four different Polar Bears scored in the third and Daly dished out assists on all but one goal in the quarter while outscoring the Bantams 4-0 through the frame. The two teams traded goals through the final 15 minutes of play and Brett Kujala and Daly each picked up their second of the game. By the Numbers Daly, Kujala, and Crowell all had a pair of goals while Daly paced the Polar Bears with three helpers. Sam Carlin went 16-22 at the faceoff X for Bowdoin. Peter Mumford made six stops between the pipes to earn the win.
