WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Freshman Emma Privitera turned away a school-record 22 shots, but visiting Boston University came away with a 20-2 win against the Hartford women's lacrosse team on Saturday. The Hawks drop to 0-3 on the season while the Terriers improve to 2-1. BOSTON UNIVERSITY 20, HARTFORD 2 The Terriers struck three times within the first six minutes before Megan Miller put Hartford on the board with a free-position goal at the 22:47 mark. The sophomore struck again to end another three-goal run by BU with 18:00 to go, but the Terriers would tack on seven more goals before the end of the half to put the game out of reach. INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES Privitera bested her previous school record of 16 saves, set last Wednesday against CCSU. She improved her season save total to 42 in 130 minutes. With a pair of goals, Miller pushes her total to three on the season. Kailey Conry fueled BU's offense with a game-best 11 points, scoring four times while adding seven assists.
