With less than 30-seconds left in the first half, Marissa Malvaso snuck one by the Bryant goalie to pull the Griffs back within four, 9-5, heading into the break. Miranda Malvaso would make it a 9-6 game two minutes into the second stanza. However, three minutes later the Bulldogs would score back-to-back goals to go up 11-6. At the 20:53 mark, Cummings would score her first goal of the game after receiving a pass from Marissa Malvaso, followed by Mryglod's tally to make the score 11-8 in favor of the Bulldogs just 57 seconds later. In the final minutes of competition, Bryant would add two more goals, including one as time expired to give the game its final tally, 18-13. Head Coach Allison Daley Postgame Comments "We competed hard for 60 minutes today and I am proud of our team for that. We again saw some really great things from this team and that shows how capable we are. We dug ourselves into an hole in the first half but we had a solid response from our team to close the gap." "We played an extremely challenging non-conference schedule and we hope that has set us up for conference play this weekend."
