The Sacred Heart women's lacrosse team fell at home to Bryant, 20-8, in the Pioneers' first Northeast Conference game of the season on Friday afternoon from Campus Field. The loss drops SHU to 1-9 on the season while Bryant evens their overall record at 5-5. Lydia Werlau pumped in four of the eight Pioneer goals for her fourth hat trick of the season while the defensive duo of Claire McElhenny (five draw controls, three caused turnovers) and Elizabeth Small (three caused turnovers, three ground balls) were heavily involved in the action for SHU.
