The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team picked up its third straight win, topping Sacred Heart 11-8 on Saturday afternoon at Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium. The Pioneers tied the score 7-7 with 17:28 to go, but the Bobcats scored the next three goals to take control. RECORDS Quinnipiac 3-2 / Sacred Heart 0-4 GAME NOTES Quinnipiac took the lead for good on the first goal of the season from Any Hauser with 14:16 left in regulation. The Bobcats extended their lead to two goals when sophomore twins Ashley Bobinski and Victoria Bobinski connecting ion a goal with Ashley finding Victoria in front of the cage. Allison Kuhn followed with her second goal of the game off another feed from Ashley Bobinski to make the score 10-7 with 8:06 left. After Sacred Heart closed back to within 10-8 with 4:37 to go, Kuhn finished off her hat trick to seal the win with 3:05 to go. Kuhn's first goal off a feed from Emily Byrne made the score 7-4 with 35 seconds left in the first half, but Sacred Heart scored off a loose ball with just two seconds left to make the score 7-5 heading into intermission. Brianna Fitzgerald started the scoring with her first goal of the season for the Bobcats 2:27 into the contest, and neither team would score for the next 12 minutes until the Pioneers tied it on a Carrie Speicher goal.
