The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team fell 14-10 to Northeast Conference host Saint Francis University, Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers wrap-up the season at 2-14 overall and 2-5 in league play, while the Red Flash finish 7-10 on the year and 3-4 in NEC action.

Cassi Cesario tied the score, 8-8, 73 seconds into the second-half, netting a pass from Aver Farhat
SFU scored the next four goals, with the go-ahead goal coming from Emileigh Scott at the 25:46 mark

Cesario finished with a team-best five points, netting three goals
Alyssa Pearce also had a hat trick, finishing with four points in the finale

How it Happened
Mahon opened the scoring 3:23 into the game, the first of two early goals for the Red Flash
The Pioneers got on the board at the 25:02 mark when Pearce netted her first
Pearce scored three straight, and the Pioneers four, to take a 4-2 advantage
The Red Flash scored the next three and six of eight to build an 8-6 advantage with 2:43 to play
Wise wrapped up the first-half scoring with a tally with four ticks left, sending the game to intermission 8-7
