The No. 17 Boston College lacrosse team jumped back into the win column with a midweek victory over Brown, 13-10, Tuesday afternoon. Charlotte North and Jenn Medjid paced the scoring with three goals a piece as Jordan Lappin and Cara Urbank each added a pair of goals in the effort. Five different Eagles found the back of the net in just the opening frame as sophomores Caitlynn Mossman and Courtney Weeks both tallied their first goal of the season. Medjid connected with freshman Hollie Schleicher for a woman-up goal to open the scoring, getting the Eagles on the board with 26:10 remaining in the opening frame. Less than three minutes later, Lappin scored her first to double BC's lead. The Eagles held onto their two-goal lead for eight minutes before Alaina Parisella got past sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Hall. Brown's KC Williams earned herself a natural hat trick, tallying the next three goals to give the Bears their first lead of the afternoon. Medjid, North and Courtney Weeks each responded to round out the opening half with BC on top, 6-4. The teams traded goals to open the second half, but Claire Jeschke scored to knot the game at 7-7. North answered back, but Brown's Maggie Fowler tallied less than a minute later to find another tie. The Eagles found their footing and went on a 3-0 run, with Medjid, Lappin and senior Kate Taylor contributing goals. Brown's Sophia DeRosa capitalized on a woman-up opportunity, but North and Urbank both scored to cap the win for the Eagles.
