For the fifth straight season, the Providence College Friars lacrosse team took on the Boston University Terriers for their season opening game. Led by Sean Leahey's five points, the Friars snapped a four-game game skid against the Terriers and earned their first season-opening win since 2014, winning by a score of 12-5 at Nickerson Field in Boston.
