In a match up that featured a pregame celebration and Dedication of the all new Chapey Field, the Providence College Friars men's lacrosse team hosted the second ranked Denver Pioneers in a Big East showdown.  After leading by one at the start of the second half, the Pioneers pulled away from the Friars with an 11-2 run that lead to a decisive 17-7 win.
