Looking to capture their eighth straight NJCAA National title, the Onondaga Community College Lazers lacrosse team hosted the fourth seeded Genesee CC Cougars in Syracuse, NY.  After trailing 8-5 at the half, Genesee rallied to force overtime where  Cougar's attack man Pat Van Bortle buried the game winner to give Genesee a 13-12 win and their first ever National Title in program history.
