Another edition of the Lax.com Rising High School Games of the Week sees the playoff run in progress for all the states still in action this season and possible title runs underway for many of the nationally ranked programs. But before they can worry about winning it all, each of this week’s featured teams must survive tough games to advance.
In New Jersey, Delbarton (N.J.) can win the Non Public Group A tournament and give itself a chance to move onto the Tournament of Champions. On Long Island, powerhouses collide when the county finals take place. Arguably some of the best games of the year each season, the Suffolk County Class A finals sees Smithtown East taking on Ward Melville, while Manhasset hosts Garden City in another battle of two traditional strongholds.
