LEAPS Lax Pro Benefit Game

Oct 5, 2010
Lax.com hit up the Agnes Irwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa. last Saturday for the first annual L.E.A.P.S. Lacrosse "Friends and Benefits" charity "pro" lacrosse game.

Spearheaded by John Christmas, the event brought together top players plucked from MLL and LXM rosters. Dan Hary, P.T. Ricci, Chazz Woodson, Ryan Cranston, Billy McGlone, Ben Hunt, Brett Moyer, and Ric Beardsley were just some of the familiar players that showed off in the free-flowing, at times one-upsmanship of the game.

The pros were split into two squads, one coached by Team USA defender Kyle Sweeney, and the other led by Team USA goalie Brian 'Doc' Dougherty. With rosters being evenly matched, the game played a break-neck 13-12 conclusion, as Sweeney's squad (Christmas's team as well) walked away the victors.
