In a meeting of two of the top lacrosse teams on Long Island, the nationally ranked Massapequa Chiefs lacrosse team traveled to Syosset for a showdown with the Syosset Braves. In a windy, cold, and low scoring affair that needed overtime to decide a winner, Ryan Tierney scored with 2:54 left in OT to give Massapequa a 7-6 win and extend their winning streak to 29 games.
