Looking to capture its state record 16th high school lacrosse championship, the West Genesee boy's lacrosse team faced off against Niskayuna at Vestal high School. However it would be Niskayuna who would make history, becoming the first New York state champion from section two, after a 13-10 win over West Genesee.
