In a rematch of the last year's CIF San Diego Section Championship game the second seeded Poway Titans took on the first seeded Torrey Pines Falcons. The Titans came out strong going up 3 - 0 by the end of the first quarter but the Falcons were able to fight back to tie it up 5 - 5 in the third and make it a game. That was as close as the Falcons would come though as the Titans were able score two more late in the third and then hold the Falcons to just one goal in fourth. Lead by their solid defensive play and some clutch saves by goalie Kellan Cutting (15 saves total) Poway pulled off the repeat championship win by a final score of 7 - 6.
