For the second straight season, the Boston University men's lacrosse team opened their season agains the Providence College Friars in a battle between New England collegiate lacrosse rivals. With expectations high for both programs in 2018, there was no shortage of drama in the air for the matchup. In a repeat of last year, regulation time wasn't enough to determine a winner after a furious Terriers comeback in the fourth quarter, capped of when Boston senior Ryan Hilburn tied the game with 7.8 seconds remaining in regulation. In overtime, the Terriers would prevail once more, as John Maclean score with 47 seconds to play to give Boston a 12-11 win. Check out highlights from all the action with Lax.com!
