For the second straight season, the Boston University men's lacrosse team opened their season agains the Providence College Friars in a battle between New England collegiate lacrosse rivals. With expectations high for both programs in 2018, there was no shortage of drama in the air for the matchup. In a repeat of last year, regulation time wasn't enough to determine a winner after a furious Terriers comeback in the fourth quarter, capped of when Boston senior Ryan Hilburn tied the game with 7.8 seconds remaining in regulation.
